For the characters, I didn’t want them all doing the same action, I wanted their action to be relevant to their emotion. Therefore I wanted disgust to have hands on hips, anger with hands on head and happiness to have the arms up and out wide. For sadness I did however decide to keep it the same as before because it gives a kind of lonely feel if the person has their arms down. Adapting the way the characters look, can help the children and parents understand better what they are representing. They also look less boring, as they do not all look the same but different colours.
